Give that 'not good enough' back to where it came from

Most of us carry a voice: you're not enough, you should try harder, this isn't good enough.

We tend to assume it's our own. But listen closely and its tone, its exact words, often sound a great deal like someone from long ago — a parent, a teacher, someone in an old relationship.

It was never your voice

It was put there when you were small, before you could tell the difference. You mistook it for yourself, and kept saying someone else's lines for years.

Seeing this isn't about blaming anyone. It's about handing that "not good enough" gently back to where it came from.

It was never the truth about you. Only an echo someone else left behind.
